As a child, the size of Don’s personality was only surpassed by the size of his glasses and as a result, he learned how to stand up to bullies. Those experiences as a youngster helped him develop characteristics of not just rooting for underdogs, but defending them. This is why Don supports and volunteers for organizations that support those whom he can fight for and also for those who fight for him.
Among the many worthy organizations, Don focuses on programs that support children and students, seniors and veterans. Don tries to strike a balance between charity and philanthropy in that while he provides assistance to relieve social and economic issues such as hunger, unemployment and illness, he also supports organizations that look to educate and supply resources to solve these issues at their root.
