Donald received a gubernatorial appointment to serve on the North Carolina Board of Science, Technology & Innovation (BSTI). The NC BSTI encourages, promotes, and supports scientific, engineering, and industrial research applications in North Carolina. Its mission is to improve the economic well‐being and quality of life of all North Carolinians through advancing science, technology, and innovation. The Board works with the North Carolina General Assembly and the Governor to put into place the infrastructure that keeps North Carolina on the cutting edge of science and technology.
The Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) is a global network of young chief executives with approximately 22,000 members in more than 125 countries. YPO aims to provide members with increased opportunities for success in the global marketplace by assisting them to form partnerships with other members all over the world.
A cornerstone of NCSU Computer Science Department’s strategic planning efforts is the Strategic Advisory Board (SAB). This dynamic group of industry executives and academic leaders provide input and guidance that is critical to helping shape the department’s strategic direction. The SAB meets annually on campus and continues to function as a virtual working team throughout the year through member involvement on subcommittees and executive panels.
